The New York Times (http://www.times.com) has discontinued its “Times Select” fee-for-use service in favor of an open access model. Since September, materials on the NY Times website, including archives back to 1987, have been freely available to users. For details, see the announcement at http://www.nytimes.com/marketing/ts/.
One useful feature of the NY Times website: RSS feeds by topic. The Health category includes feeds for research, money & policy, and fitness & nutrition. Find the RSS feed links at http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/index.html.
