A few weeks ago, a member posted a question on the MHSLA listserv about handling CD-ROMs that come in books. If I recall correctly, most of the responses tended to be, “leave it in the book.”
Now there’s a new approach to providing electronic access with a print book – mp3 download. The Krafty Librarian reports seeing her first mp3 book accompaniment, which her library was given permission to download and make available to her patrons. See the story What to do with MP3s that come with books for details of how her library handled this.
